The ARX FD1290-8034G is a true 4-wire fan with variable fan speed and conforms to the Intel Specification for use on LGA 775/Socket T motherboards.
The fan speed is controlled by your systems motherboard and will run at approximately 30% of full speed at start up of your system. This RPM will be maintained for approx. 2 sec. after which your motherboard control will take over the fan speed.
Ideal for use as a powerful replacement fan for OEM heatsinks particularly ThermalRight XP-90 and XP-90C. Also useful on the ThermalRight SI-97 using the 4 pin fan connector in 3 pin mode.
