The Arctic
Cooling Silencer 64 brings the low noise, high performance, ease of use,
and favorable price performance ratio of Arctic Cooling to Opteron/Athlon
64 users. Featuring the same reverse hung fan as the Copper Silent 2 with
rubber dampeners and an aerodynamic blade design for minimum noise and
maximum performance and a 10mm thick thermal plate, the Silencer 64 installs
quickly with two screws. At just 56mm high, it is easy to fit in even
cramped computer cases.

The further development of the silent 80mm fan means even lower noise
levels. This is due to the fan positioning on 4 rubber feet which forbids
any possible noise vibrations and the optimized for aerodynamics fan blades.
The large 80mm fan allows, (compared to smaller fans) for better cooling
performance at lower rotation speed. The result is less noise and at the
same time longer life.

Cooling
The 10 mm thick Aluminium bottom plate allows for good heat dissipation,
the large surface area for optimal heat transfer to air. This allows for
sufficient cooling even for high clocked Athlon 64 and Opteron CPU's.

Installation
Using two screws the cooler can be mounted quickly and easily.

Profile
Thanks to the reverse hung fan the relevant height for the air flow can
be kept to a low 56mm.
