The Arctic Fan Pro 2L TC features aerodynamically optimized fan blades and housing for ultra low noise starting at just 12dBA. The Thermal Control sensor provides the correct balance between air flow and noise. Even at its highest setting of 2500RPM, the Pro 2L TC creates just 22dBA of noise. This silent performance means you can fill all your empty case fan spots with Pro 2L TC fans without worrying about noise and the elimination of unnecessary fan rotation increases the life span and reliability of the fan.

The graph will be interesting between 20 und 45°C. In this range, the fan works virtually silent between 1000 - 2100 RPM.

More Efficient Ventilation
The cooling of each PC Component is based on warm air being drawn out of the case.
In most cases the power supply cannot provide enough ventilation for the PC case without having the fan inside the power supply spin at higher rotation speeds and thus creating more noise.
A additional case fan such as arctic fan PRO 2L TC can solve this problem. The fan inside the power supply can now spin at lower speeds and thus work far quieter.
The ventilation in a PC case using two fans causes, for an equal airflow less than half as much noise.
