This bulk uv reactive wire can be used to replace the wiring fans, PSU leads or any other application that requires up to 18 AWG in thickness. Create your own adapters and leads using our ConnectorZ Crimp Tools, Molex Connectors and Pins.

18 AWG is approx. 1.0mm or 0.040" in diameter (does not include the coating). Since thicker wire carries more current because it has less electrical resistance over a given length, 18 gauge wire is better for longer distances. The resistance per 1000 feet of 18 AWG is 6.386 Ohms.
